UNDERGRADUATE CERTIFICATE INFORMATION
Students are required to participate in a web-facilitated program at the beginning of the certificate. This will serve as a program orientation, introduction to faculty and overview of the necessary technology. Interested students are also required to take an assessment of their knowledge of the basic statistical skills necessary to understand and interpret public health data. Those students not demonstrating a proficiency of this material, will be offered a review of these skills. Those students demonstrating proficiency of the material will not be required to take the review. After review, participating students will be re-assessed. Based on this re-assessment, students may be required to take additional training and/or tutoring in this area. Students not showing proficiency in the material after the additional training will not be admitted into the certificate.
